About us
Family owned and run since 1971.
The Barton family has been in the waste and recycling game for more than fifty years — the same family, the same town, the same trucks on your street.
It started in 1971 with the Barton family running waste and recycling contracts in south-west Victoria. A year later the family secured the City of Warrnambool kerbside garbage collection contract, and the work has not really stopped since.
These days that means kerbside waste and recycling collections across Warrnambool, bin and skip hire for homes and businesses, and our own recycling plant on Mason Street, where recovered glass is turned into a compound used in road building.
We are still family owned and family run. The people who quote your job are the same people who know which driveways the trucks can get down — and you will get one of us on the phone, not a call centre.
Fifty years in, we still tip every load ourselves.
